Ceramic sculpture, 'The Last Supper'

This decorative ceramic piece features the "Ultima Cena" (Last Supper) with Jesus Christ and his twelve apostles. It was molded by the adroit hands of the Mamani family who orient their work to the mystical expression of Peruvian villages. They use natural earth paints and latex for the more specific tones. Attention to detail is evident in the representation of the figures sitting around a round table set with plates holding bread and fruit. Makes for a superb item to place on a display shelf.
